賃貸集合住宅の合理的な形式を尊重しながらも、中小規模の建物が立ち並ぶ複雑な周辺環境との連続性を持たせるため、外壁を部分的にもう一枚重ねることによって、階や方角によって開き方の異なるバルコニーや、共用廊下・ゴミ置き場・玄関ポーチなどの半屋外空間、庇下の空間、陰影のある外観を作りました。また、外壁には表情のあるモザイクタイルを用いることにより、距離によって異なる印象になるようにしています。 前面道路から離れて見る時にはやさしく周囲に馴染み、近づくに従って複雑な個々の色合いが見えてきます。

Rental apartment complex in Kamakura

We added extra exterior wall onto the building, to create continuity and coherency with complicated small and medium surrounding buildings with respect to rational standard of apartment complex design. 
With this feature, this apartment has balconies that are uniquely open at each floor and direction, partially outdoor facilities such as entrance porch, common hallway, trash-room and spaces under eaves.
Moreover, mosaic walling is tiled on the exterior wall to express shading contrast so that you can appreciate different appearance with different distance; naturally blended semblance to scenery from far, and assortment of colors as you get close to it.
